Community Involvement

Borden Ladner Gervais’ tradition of service to the community is born out of our responsibility and commitment to the communities in which we are located. We take great pride in our citizenship role and seek to provide a meaningful benefit for our selected endeavours.

BLG actively encourages all members of the Firm to get involved in BLG’s Community Affairs programs by providing extra time off to volunteer. Our philosophy is to promote social responsibility within our own Firm and to demonstrate the strength of our commitment; we support active participation, rather than simply fundraising.

Our Community Affairs programs are channeled through a variety of activities including the provision of pro bono legal services, fundraising and volunteer service. In general, the Firm supports causes involving children, literacy, cancer and agencies supporting those less fortunate.
