Background
Sandra Angelopoulos has been a law clerk in the Toronto office of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP since 2007 and is a member of the Financial Services Group.
Her practice focuses on regulatory matters for Canadian and foreign financial service providers, including banks, bank branches, trust companies, loan companies, insurance companies, agencies and brokers, and finance companies.
Sandra assists with:
- the establishment and ongoing requirements of a variety of regulated and unregulated financial service providers;
- regulatory issues arising in transactions involving financial service providers such as acquisitions, dispositions, amalgamations, reorganizations, financings and securitizations;
- numerous secured and unsecured lending transactions including transactions involving the interim financing of various Canadian film and television productions; and
- drafting and amending documentation to ensure compliance with corporate legislation including PPSA and Bank Act registrations.
