Background

Marc Babinski is a partner in the Montréal office. Marc was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1989 and the Bar of Québec in 2009. He is a graduate of the University of Ottawa Law School. Prior to Law School, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hon.) and Master of Arts from the University of Western Ontario. Marc is fluently bilingual.

Areas of Practice

Marc is the regional leader of the Corporate Commercial Practice group. He provides corporate and commercial advice to a broad base of clients in the private and public sectors.

The leader of the Firm's Innovation Sector focus group, Marc has extensive experience with commercial transactions involving acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures, corporate reorganizations and financing involving intellectual property as well as other assets.

He has represented clients in the telecommunications and software sectors as well as national sports and professional associations.
