Background
Katharine Byrick is a partner in our Toronto office. Katharine was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1999. She graduated from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law in 1997.
Prior to attending the University of Windsor, Katharine received an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Western Ontario. Katharine joined Borden Ladner Gervais LLP in 2001. Prior to that, she articled with and practiced at a firm in London, Ontario.
Areas of Practice
- Katharine is a member of our Health Law Group. The primary focus of her practice is defending hospitals in medical malpractice actions.
Professional Experience
- Katharine has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court and the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
- Katharine has also been involved in mediations and negotiations representing the interests of clients in a variety of litigation matters.
