Background
Rocco D'Angelo is a partner at our Ottawa office. He was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1986. Born and raised in Ottawa, Rocco attended Carleton University for his undergraduate studies and received a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He completed his law studies at the University of Ottawa, where he graduated magna cum laude and received the University Gold Medal. He is conversant in Italian and speaks some French.
Rocco is the Regional Department Manager of the Business Law Department in Ottawa and a member of the Ottawa Regional Management Committee.

- Wide experience in real estate matters and has represented owners and developers of commercial real estate projects as well as institutional lenders in the financing of shopping centres, hotels and office complexes.
- Involved in several public-private partnership projects involving municipal facilities.

- Presented at a number of industry related functions, including the 1990 Residential Real Estate Loss Prevention Program in Ottawa, the 1994 CBA/LSUC Seminar entitled "The Pragmatic Practitioner: The Do's and Don'ts of Everyday Practice", the Real Estate Bar Admission Course and the 2005 OBA/CCLA Seminar entitled "Priorities, Practices and Problems under the PPSA".
- Member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Upper Canada.
- Active member of the CCLA (County of Carleton Law Association) Real Estate Committee
- Member of the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa and former trustee of the Kiwanis Medical Foundation.
