Background

Tamara Tomomitsu is a partner in our Toronto office.

Tamara was admitted  to the Ontario Bar in 2000. She received her LLB from the University of Manitoba and completed her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Alberta, obtaining a degree in Economics.

Areas of Practice

• Civil litigation with an emphasis on first and third party automobile claims as well as municipal liability, insurance coverage issues and subrogation claims.

• Lead counsel at trials and arbitrations 
• Experience in handling catastrophic personal injury claims involving brain and spinal cord injuries 
• Opinions on various insurance coverage issues
• Municipal liability practice includes defence of automobile claims and occupier’s liability claims
