Background

Michael Waters is an associate in our Vancouver office. Michael was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 2008. He is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School with a Bachelor of Laws in 2007. Prior to legal studies, he attended the University of British Columbia where he received a Master of Arts in Philosophy, and a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Philosophy, First Class.

Michael practises in the area of securities and capital markets.

Professional Experience

• Michael completed his articles with BLG in May 2008;
• Michael is focusing his practice on advising clients in a variety of sectors, with respect to securities, corporate and commercial law matters, including:
  • corporate financing transactions;
  • mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations; and
  • in all respects of the investment advisory industry.
