Background
Andrew Bunston is an associate in the Securities and Capital Markets Group at our Toronto office. Andrew graduated from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law, in 2007. In 2003 he received an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Politics from Queen's University. He was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2008.
In 2006, Andrew summered with Borden Ladner Gervais LLP and was seconded for a portion of his time to the OSC Corporate Finance and Take-Over Branch. In 2007 Andrew articled at the firm before joining as an associate in 2008. Andrew has seconded at two TSX listed companies in 2010 and 2011.

- Acting for Parsons Brinckerhoff Inc. in connection with its acquisition of Halsall Associates Ltd., an engineering and project management firm.
- Acting for AIC Limited in connection with Manulife Financial Corporation's acquisition of AIC's retail investment fund business.
- Acting for Northland Power Inc. in connection with its $150 million preferred share offering.
- Acting for the underwriters in connection with Chartwell REIT's $130 million unit offering.
- Acting for the dealer managers in connection with TimberWest Forest Corp.'s $150 million rights offering and private placement.
- Acting for Hewlett-Packard in connection with the Canadian integration of its businesses resulting from its $13.9 billion acquisition of EDS.
