Background

Beverley Moore is an associate in the Ottawa office of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. Beverley is a lawyer. She obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 1997, a Master of Science in Biochemistry in 2000 and an Bachelor of Laws in 2002, all from Queen's University. Beverley's Masters research involved mechanistic studies with Vitamin D analogues. Beverley was called to the Ontario bar in 2003.

Areas of Practice

  • intellectual property litigation, with an emphasis on patent litigation and applications under the NOC Regulations
  • regulatory issues such as listing patents on the Patent Register; reporting patents to the Patented Medicines Prices Review Board, patent portfolio management and the Register of Innovative Drugs as it relates to data protection

  • appeared before the Federal Court and the Federal Court of Appeal
  • represented pharmaceutical companies in patent infringement actions, applications under the NOC Regulations, damages proceedings under the NOC Regulations, and judicial reviews of decisions of the Minister of Health
