Anick Morin is a partner at our Montréal office. Anick is the Montréal Regional leader of the Investment Management Group. She was admitted to the Québec Bar in 1996. She graduated from McGill University (B.C.L., LL.B).

Professional Experience
Her areas of expertise include:
- advising investment fund managers, portfolio managers, insurance companies and other financial market participants on various legal issues, including the creation and management of investment products (such as mutual funds, pooled funds and segregated funds);
- advising investment funds, insurance companies and reporting issuers on corporate governance issues;
- assisting investment funds and reporting issuers in the preparation of their annual disclosure documentation;
- advising financial market participants on registration, ethical and regulatory issues;
- advising and participating in corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions for both private and public issuers as well as registered firms and other regulated entities; and
- advising and participating in corporate finance transactions, such as private placements and public financing.
Anick was previously legal counsel at BCE Inc. and Bell Canada International Inc. where she gained solid experience in merger and acquisition transactions, especially in international markets.
Anick has given various conferences and authored numerous articles on subject matters relating to due diligence, corporate disclosure and corporate governance as well as legislative and regulatory development in the investment management industry.
