Mathieu Piché-Messier is a partner at our Montréal office. Mr. Piché-Messier was admitted to the Québec Bar in 1998 and is a graduate of the University of Sherbrooke Law School.

Professional Experience

• He coauthored a work of doctrine (325 pages) entitled L'injonction et les ordonnances Anton Piller, Mareva et Norwich (The Anton Piller, Mareva and Norwich Injunctions and Orders) and published by Lexis Nexis in 2009.
• Mr. Piché-Messier has worked on the preparation and enforcement of seizures, injunctions and Anton Piller orders, as representative of the plaintiff and as independent senior lawyer for several Canadian law firms, in civil and commercial law, and particularly in commercial fraud and privacy, high technology, industrial espionage, intellectual property and commercial leases matters.
• Has represented various clients before the Superior Court, the Court of Appeal, the Federal Court and various administrative tribunals in Québec.
• Was involved in negotiating, drafting and revision of contracts in various areas of law, including commercial lease matters and IP License agreements.
