Executive Summary

Nina Aggarwal is an associate at our Ottawa office. Nina practises as a general lawyer in the Corporate Commercial Group, and has become increasingly involved in governance, statutory and regulatory matters related to not-for-profit and charitable organizations.

Nina joined Borden Ladner Gervais LLP after completing her articles with the Firm. During her legal studies, Nina was an assistant editor of the Ottawa Law Review, a caseworker at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic and a research assistant.

Representative Work

  • Advises not-for-profit organizations and charities on incorporation, organization, governance issues and ongoing management of corporate law matters.
  • Advises healthcare institutions on legal issues such as implementation and review of internal policies.
  • Advises clients on privacy and confidentiality issues, such as compliance with the Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004, Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and Quality of Care Information Protection Act, 2004.
