Executive Summary

Tamar Agopian practises insurance litigation, performing defence and coverage work for municipal, insurance and self-insured clients, in respect of property, casualty and motor vehicle matters. Her practice includes providing coverage advice to insurers for broker's errors and omissions claims.

Tamar has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court and the Ontario Court of Appeal, conducting and assisting at trials, appeals and motions. She has also acted as lead counsel at multi-party mediations. Tamar is fluent in French and Armenian, and involved with the Toronto Armenian legal community. She is a regular speaker at client seminars and internal BLG workshops.
