Representative Work

  • Defends Québec hospitals on behalf of the Direction des programmes d'assurance de l'Association québécoise d'établissements de santé et de services sociaux (AQESSS).
  • Counsels and represents the McGill University Health Centre regarding all questions relating to health law and access to information issues.
  • Vast experience in the area of insurance law. Was responsible for many lawsuits in this area.
  • Represents, amongst others, Markel Insurance Company of Canada in matters involving issues of transportation law.
  • Reviews insurance products for Axa Insurance Inc.
  • Counsels and represents Le Groupe Jean Coutu (PJC) Inc. in various types of actions, particularly real estate issues.
  • Has provided counsel on real estate issues to various companies, such as the Bank of Montréal.
  • Acted for the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) regarding the non-renewal of CHOI-FM's licence, 2004-07 (Federal Court of Appeal/Supreme Court of Canada), with respect to the constitutionality of the non-renewals of the broadcasting licences and the constitutional right to free speech.
  • Defended an educational institution in a major class action.
