Rubis Chaput

Rubis completed a bachelor’s degree in civil law at the Université Laval in 2011. During her studies, she worked for the legal department of a professional corporation where she was responsible for publishing the Discipline Committee’s decisions and took part in the Dean’s Cup Award in connection with the Moot Court Programme. Prior to her studies in law, she completed a bachelor’s degree in communications, with honours in marketing, at the Université de Montréal. Following her initial training, she was in charge of investor relations for a company traded on the TSX Venture Exchange. She also participated in the North American start-up of subsidiaries of a French publishing company, and then cooperated to the development of a telecommunications company’s wireless network. If Rubis had not pursued a legal career, she would have attended medical school.
