Hugo D'Astous

Hugo is a student at the Université de Montréal and will complete his civil law degree at Université de Panthéon-Assas in Paris in 2012. Sport being a passion for him, Hugo has succeeded in combining intensive American football playing and scientific studies both at secondary school and college levels. Hugo quickly acquired a liking for debates as soon as he started studying law and soon got involved in setting up the Université de Montréal’s Debating team. This growing interest for debating lead him to participate to the Parlement Jeunesse du Québec as well as to the Jeune Conseil de Montréal. Strongly attracted by foreign countries and human experiences, he volunteered for a development project initiated by the Pure Art Foundation in Peru in 2010. Hugo keeps up a great interest in playing music and for nature. Had he not gone to law school, Hugo would have carried on sciences studies and joined Doctors Without Borders.
