Jean-Philippe Herbert

Jean-Philippe is completing a bachelor in civil and common law at McGill University. During his studies, he acted as a judge on the Judicial Board of the Students’ Society of McGill University and served as a translator for the McGill Journal of Law and Health. Jean-Philippe assisted a professor in research pertaining to the power of arbitrators to grant injunctions. He was also a clerk for a judge of the Quebec Superior Court. Besides the academic field, he was involved with the Student Ambassador program at McGill, partook in various committees and has

been part of the basketball faculty team. Passionate for this sport, Jean-Philippe serves as president of an officials association and is a high-level referee. Furthermore, he aspires to participate in international contests in the next few years. He speaks fluently and writes French, English and Spanish, and has travelled on four different continents. Jean-Philippe is currently doing an internship at the World Anti-Doping Agency.
