David Lopez Sanso |
 |
David holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from McGill University and is currently completing his civil law degree at Université de Sherbrooke. He won the 2011 oral argument competition at the Faculty of Law, and as such represented the university at the Face à Face provincial finals. This coming semester, he will be a member of his school delegation at this year’s Laskin Moot, while also working with a judge. David officiates as a high level referee, notably in Québec’s elite soccer league, and has shown extensive implication in the training and support towards younger referees, especially as a member of the Brossard Soccer Association’s local refereeing committee. A fluent speaker in French, English and Spanish, David can also speak a certain amount of Italian. In his spare time, he loves to learn about history, cinema and general trivia. Had he not pursued a career as a lawyer, David would have been a journalist. |
