Marie-Claude Lassiseraye Mathieu

Marie-Claude Lassiseraye Mathieu completed a civil law degree at Laval University in 2011. During her studies, she participated in the program Échanges-Canada and completed a semester at Dalhousie University in Halifax. She also spent a term at the University of Victoria as a visiting student. Marie-Claude intends to pursue her studies in order to complete a common law degree. During her civil law degree, she worked as legal counsel for the Bureau de l’Information Juridique of Laval University. A great swimmer and water-polo player for many years, she also played for two years in the Senior Major League. Had she not pursued a career in law, she would be a trumpetist in a jazz band or the author of Lonely Planet travel guides to quench her passion for travelling.
