Stavroula Papadopoulos

Stavroula completed the professional training program at École du Barreau in 2010. She obtained her bachelors of civil law and common law from McGill University. Having spent a semester on exchange studying at the University of Barcelona in Spain, Stavroula also had the chance to live in New York for a summer, working for the International Justice programme at Human Rights Watch. Before studying law, she completed her bachelors degree in Journalism at Concordia University. As a journalist, Stavroula worked in West Africa with the international organisation Oxfam, completing an internship in Burkina Faso. She is passionate about discovering cultures and has travelled extensively. She speaks English, French, Greek, Spanish and basic Portuguese. Had she not pursued a career in law, Stavroula would have liked to travel around the world as a journalist.
