Adèle D'Silva

Adèle completed her bachelors of civil law and common law at McGill University, having already completed a B.A. with a double major in Political Science and International Developmental Studies. During her law degree, she volunteered at the McGill Legal Information Clinic and represented McGill in the Pierre-Basile Mignault Competitive Moot and the Montreal Bar Prize Moot. She also played on various university intramural sports teams (volleyball, soccer) and worked part-time as a student researcher at a commercial law firm. Prior to university, she was involved in the Royal Canadian Air Cadets as the Squadron Commander of her unit and represented the organization in an international exchange to Turkey in 2000. Adèle loves hiking, camping, and travelling and went to Asia for a semester at the National University of Singapore. Due to her love of all things food-related, if she had not gone to law school she would have opened her own restaurant or become the host of a Canadian version of 'Food Safari'.
