Maria Valente-Fernandes

Maria completed her bachelor of civil law at Université de Montréal. Maria clerked part time at the Superior Court of Quebec with the Honourable Justice Claude Auclair. Prior to her legal studies, Maria obtained a bachelor degree in History in 2004 from McGill University. She then worked for three years in Human Resources at L'Oréal Canada. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and reading. Maria speaks English, French and Portuguese. If she had not pursued a career in law, she would have been a researcher for an American presidential library.
