Charles completed his studies at McGill University where he obtained a Political Science and Italian Civilization degree and his bachelors of Civil Law and Common Law. Throughout his studies, Charles was deeply involved at the faculty of Law where he served as Director of communication at the McGill Legal Information Clinic and participated in the Charles-Rousseau moot competition in public international law. A hockey player since he was a child, Charles played for five years in the Québec Major Junior Hockey League, four years for the McGill Redmen in the Canadian Interuniversity league and represented Quebec in the under-17 World hockey Championships. Constantly riding a bixi bike, Charles is also a music lover who, at his parents displeasure, became an accomplished drummer. Fluent in both French and English, Charles has also been learning Italian and Mandarin, which led him to study at the Peking University and visit China, Italy and many European countries. Had he not pursued a career in law, Charles would be working in Rome or Beijing for the Ministry of foreign affairs. |
