Matt Shyba

Matt recently graduated from Dalhousie University and is another returning BLG summer student. Matt also holds a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from Bishop’s University. After entering law school, Matt spent a summer working at the Munich based law firm of Bock Oppler-Hering gaining experience in German-Canadian international law. During his final year of law school, Matt completed an exchange program focusing on international and comparative business law at Bucerius University in Hamburg, Germany. Prior to attending law school Matt acted as a Research Assistant, conducting executive searches for Hamilton Hall Soles/ Ray & Berndtson. Matt also spent two summers as a treeplanter with Apex Reforestation. Matt is active in the community and is a member of the Dalhousie Chapter of Canadian Lawyers Abroad and is a longstanding member of Trout Unlimited Canada, Ducks Unlimited Canada and Pheasants Forever.
