Background
Vince DeRose is Regional Leader of both the Defence & Security Industry Group and the Oil & Gas Group in our Ottawa Office. Vince joined the firm in 2001, and became a Partner in 2007. He received a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Political Science from the University of Manitoba in 1994, a Master of Arts in International Relations from McMaster University in 1996 and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Ottawa in 1999. Vince was called to the Bar of the Province of Ontario in 2001.

- Regularly represents clients on natural gas and electricity regulatory matters before the Ontario Energy Board and the National Energy Board.
- Regularly advises clients on all aspects of Canada 's export control laws and regulations.
