Background
Graham King is a partner practicing at our Toronto office. He was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2002. He holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Master of Science (London School of Economics, England) and a Juris Doctor (University of Windsor).
Prior to joining BLG, Graham worked in the investment and corporate banking group at one of Canada's largest investment dealers and was also a portfolio manager.
Areas of Practice
- Graham is the Toronto regional leader of BLG's Private Company Group. He specializes in corporate law with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions.

- Advises vendors, purchasers and other stakeholders in connection with Canadian and cross-border divestitures, acquisitions mergers and other corporate arrangements.
- Corporate counsel and advisor to private corporations, partnerships, private equity and venture capital corporations, investors, sole proprietorships and not-for-profit/non-share capital organizations.
- Advises on corporate reorganizations, partnership structures, professional corporations, joint ventures, private placements, earn outs, and the negotiation of subscription, shareholder, share and asset purchase agreements and a broad range of commercial contracts.
- Advises corporate directors, officers and corporations on fiduciary and corporate governance matters.

- Mobilicity and its affiliates in connection with its successful $250,000,000 bid for wireless spectrum.
- Manulife Financial Corporation in connection with the acquisition of Berkshire-TWC Financial Group Inc.
- Chrysler Canada Inc. in connection with a $769,000,000 funding agreement with the Government of Ontario.
