Background
Christine Pallotta is a partner in our Toronto office. Christine was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1997. Prior to studying law, Christine received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Queen's University.
Areas of Practice
- Christine's practice focuses on all aspects of intellectual property litigation including trade-mark, patent, copyright, confidential information cases, pharmaceutical patent litigation and notice of compliance proceedings.
Professional Experience
Christine has appeared as counsel or co-counsel at all levels of Federal Court, the Ontario Court of Justice and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Christine has litigated a number of significant cases, including the precedent setting LEGO trade-mark case, a case heard by the Supreme Court of Canada.
Christine is a fellow of IPIC and is active with a number of Canadian and international industry associations including: The Advocates' Society, Toronto Lawyers Association, International Trademark Association, and Intellectual Property Owners Association. Christine is a frequent presenter and writer on intellectual property enforcement matters.
