Background
Larry Richardson is a partner practising in our Waterloo Region office. He graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1975. Prior to joining BLG, Larry had been practicing law in the Waterloo Region, including with Shortt Hanbidge Richardson & Welch since 2000.
Areas of Practice
- Larry is primarily a business lawyer providing a full range of corporate commercial services as well as practicing in the areas of commercial and residential real estate, and wills and estates.
Professional Experience
- Has advised on day-to-day corporate/commercial matters including incorporation and organization of corporations, the establishment and organization of partnerships, contracts, financing, reorganizations and shareholders agreements.
- Has advised on many corporate share and asset purchase transactions on behalf of sellers and buyers.
- Has advised on all aspects of the purchase and sale of commercial/industrial real estate.
- Has advised on all aspects of the purchase and sale of residential real estate, including condominiums.
- Has advised both landlords & tenants on all aspects of commercial leasing.
- Has advised on the preparation of trusts, wills and powers of attorney.
- Has advised on the administration of both testate and intestate estates.
