Background

Robert Deane is a partner at our Vancouver office. Robert was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2000. He graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Laws in 1998 receiving the Law Society of British Columbia Gold Medal. He also received a Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University in 1995.

Areas of Practice

  • Robert practices in the areas of commercial litigation (including international and domestic commercial arbitration), appellate litigation, privacy law, intellectual property litigation, and advertising/competition law.
  • Robert is the Vancouver Regional Leader of the Privacy and Access to Information Group and the Advertising and Sponsorship Group.
  • Robert is also one of the Firm's two Privacy Officers, with primary responsibility for Western Canada.
