Background
Laleh Moshiri is the Director of Professional Development in our Toronto office. Laleh was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1994. She graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 1992.
Prior to that, she received a B.A. in History from Williams College in 1987.
Areas of Practice
- Laleh began her legal career at Borden Ladner Gervais as a litigator specializing in health law.
- Laleh stopped practicing law in 1998 and for 6 years assumed full time responsibility for the recruitment of students and lawyers for the Toronto office.
- Laleh is now responsible for the training and development of students and lawyers in the Toronto office. She is a member of our Diversity Committee, our Student Committee and our National CLE Committee.
Professional and Community Activities
In 2003, Laleh received the University of Toronto's Arbor Award for outstanding voluntary service to the University of Toronto.
Laleh is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the National Association of Law Placement and the Professional Development Consortium.
