Mélanie de Wit advises and represents hospitals and healthcare providers in areas including risk management, corporate governance, physician privileging, contracts, patient safety initiatives, mental health and medical negligence. She regularly appears on behalf of clients before tribunals such as the Consent and Capacity Board, Ontario Review Board and Health Professions Appeal and Review Board, and at all levels of Ontario courts. She is a member of the Health Law Group in the Toronto office of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, and a member of the Firm's Team North initiative.

- Advises hospitals on risk management matters and patient safety initiatives.
