The Family Lawyer’s Guide to Financial Statements and Taxes

Join us for the second session in our fall lunch and learn series.

This presentation is designed specifically for family law practitioners. We are pleased to welcome as our presenter, Jean-Charles Plante, director of the Litigation Accounting and Valuation Services Group at RSM Canada.

Jean-Charles Plante will provide tips on reading financial documents (including corporate financial statements, tax returns and business valuations), address common red flags for practitioners to look out for when interpreting those documents, review the types of disclosure that should be requested in specific circumstances, and go over some do’s and don’ts with respect to communicating with your expert witness.
