Supporting Children’s Literacy

Now in its 17th year, this initiative is a hallmark of our firm. BLG Reads to Kids was launched in an effort to support literacy for young children across the country. Children from kindergarten to grade three improve their reading skills and learn to love books through the efforts of our volunteers. Since 2003, more than 300 volunteers have read to kids. We also organize local book donation drives. Through this program, we are helping foster a love of reading and draw attention to the importance of childhood literacy and education. With a specific focus on inner-city schools, we also supplement the program with book donation drives and other activities in regions that are short of books and other materials.
