We are looking for lawyers with a strong interest in advising our clients in the asset management industry on how to get started, get registered and meet their ongoing obligations as registrants, while growing their business. A service-oriented mindset is vital, as is an interest in helping our clients understand the regulatory landscape.

We are looking for
- A 5-10 year corporate/securities lawyer with an interest in securities law and experience with advising securities registrant clients on a wide range of legal and regulatory compliance matters, including initial registrations, ongoing registrant compliance obligations and regulatory audits.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate significant experience in the investment industry and working knowledge of the relevant regulatory and compliance best practices, including the Securities Act (Ontario), NI 31-103 and NI 33-109.
- Experience working with Canadian and international financial market participants, mutual fund companies, alternative asset managers and merchant banks would be considered an asset.
- The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong analytical, personal, oral and written communication skills, with a service-oriented mind-set to helping our clients and an interest in working to enhance the growth of an alternative legal service provider.
