The Toronto office of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG), Canada’s leading, innovative and client focused law firm, is seeking Associate – Financial Services.

We are looking for

• A 3-6 year Associate with specific experience in the area of banking and financial services.
• The ideal candidate will bring experience working with lenders and borrowers in financing transactions, including domestic, cross-border and international financing as well as refinancing and bond financings.
• Demonstrated experience representing clients in insolvency proceedings will be considered an asset.
• The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong analytical, personal, oral and written communication skills.

For any BLG member who is not fully vaccinated, and if the Firm requires your attendance in the office to perform your role, you must take a rapid antigen test conducted within the 24 hours prior to your coming to the office, and you must show proof of a negative test result.
