Louis Allard




Louis is a registered Canadian/U.S. patent agent. He specializes in drafting and prosecuting patent applications related to high technology, including:

  • solar energy
  • lightwave
  • telecommunications
  • electrical circuit design
  • mechanical systems

Prior to joining BLG, Louis was a postdoctoral fellow at the Université de Montréal, a research assistant at the National Research Council and an optical designer at JDS Uniphase Corp. He is an inventor on four U.S. patents related to the measurement and control of the polarization of light beams.

He is fluent in French and English.
