Focused on commercial real estate and mining transactions, Nathalie helps to negotiate and draft documents that include:

  • deed of hypothec (mortgages)
  • royalty purchase agreements
  • servitudes (easements)
  • declarations of divided co-ownership (including by phases)
  • superficies agreements
  • applications for the opening of land files
  • notices of lease

She helps to revise title opinions, researching title problems and implementing appropriate solutions.

Nathalie also acts as a resource person in real estate and mining law, sharing her knowledge with lawyers working in other fields and supervising commercial real estate lawyers and paralegals.

Experience

  • Represented K+S Aktiengesellschaft in the sale of its Canadian salt assets (including Windsor Salt and a salt mine in the Magdalen Islands) to Stone Canyon Industries Holdings LLC and its partners for US$1.47 billion
  • Participated as a mining law expert in financing transactions secured by $550 million in immovable hypothecs on mining rights
  • Participated as a mining law expert in multiple transactions involving the sale of mining rights and mining royalty agreements whose obligations were secured by immovable hypothecs on mining rights
