Adam offers practical legal advice to employers on a full range of labour and employment matters, including dismissals and discipline; employment contracts and policies; human rights issues, such as discrimination and harassment; and workers' compensation, employment standards, and occupational health and safety matters.

He also acts as counsel to NHL Clubs in salary arbitration.

He regularly represents employers in grievance arbitrations and before administrative tribunals including the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal. He has also appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Divisional Court.



      Acts for employers in litigation involving wrongful dismissal claims, injunctions and other employment related matters.
    • Represents employers on all aspects of labour and employment law, including employee terminations, severance packages, employee discipline, restricted covenants, employment policies and handbooks, employment standards, labour arbitrations and human rights matters.
    • Advises School Trustees and acts for school administrators in student discipline matters.
    • Advises companies on Workplace Safety and Insurance Board matters, including right to sue applications, worker objections, employer objections and transfer of cost matters.
