Avesta has a broad practice in general disputes litigation with a key interest in labour & employment, human rights, privacy and cyber security, and health law matters. Avesta has been involved in all areas of the litigation process, including: mediation, arbitration, negotiations, and litigation. Avesta works with both private and public clients.
Avesta has previous experience as a program consultant advising and providing consulting on the equity of company and organizational policies, and assisting management in facilitating accommodations for people with disabilities in workplaces. As a person with a visual impairment herself, she can provide advice and strategy that is based on years of experience of being a leader in the disability community.

Avesta is the winner of the Spirit of the Capital Youth Award, the Celebrations of People Youth Award, and the Legal Leaders of Diversity Scholarship, among other notable recognition.
