Jasmine’s practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation and appeals. She is primarily involved in large contractual disputes in the construction, real estate, civil engineering and insurance sectors. 

Creative and thoughtful, she also advises businesses on contract drafting and negotiation. 

Jasmine has appeared before all Québec courts, including at the appellate level.

She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations (with thesis) from the University of Ottawa. 


  • Was part of the BLG team representing insurers seeking a leave to appeal before the Supreme Court of Canada in a high-profile case and a stay of execution of the decision (SNC-Lavalin Inc. [Terratech Inc. et SNC-Lavalin Environnement Inc.] c. Deguise, 2020 QCCA 921). 
  • Was part of the BLG team representing two different contractors in major construction claims of over $35 million (Janin Atlas Inc. c. Hydro-Québec, 2019 QCCS 4523; Hydro-Québec c. Construction Polaris Inc., 2019 QCCA 990).
  • Was part of the BLG team of litigators before the Québec Court of Appeal in a $12 million case related to the interpretation of professional liability insurance policy clauses (Souscripteurs du Lloyd’s c. SNC Lavalin Inc., 2021 QCCA 833).  
  • Represented a healthcare institution and pleaded with regard to the quantum, which led to the dismissal of the proceedings initiated against the institution during a call for tenders (Prévimed Inc. c. Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de Laval, 2019 QCCS 4122).
