Katie maintains a broad disputes practice, with a focus on environmental litigation and insurance claim defence.
She advises clients across various industries in environmental, insurance, indigenous, and commercial disputes. She also assists clients in regulatory and administrative matters.
Katie has appeared at the Supreme and Provincial Courts of British Columbia.
Katie joined BLG as an associate after summering and articling with the firm. During law school, Katie was a caseworker at a poverty law clinic and served on the editorial board for the Journal of Law and Equality, a peer reviewed journal operating out the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Law. Katie graduated with a Certificate in Aboriginal Legal Studies from the University of Toronto.
