Yves focuses on real estate, corporate/commercial, construction and procurement law, with particular emphasis on real estate financing, construction contracts, procurement and business acquisition. 

His clients include public institutions such as hospitals, community colleges and school boards as well as privately-operated businesses.

Yves is the Business Law Leader of our Ottawa office. He is fluently bilingual in French and English, and practises in both official languages.

Experience

  • Acts for public institutions in all their real estate, construction and procurement law requirements.
  • Advises public institutions on complex public-private infrastructure projects from recreational facilities to hospital projects.
  • Advises both tenants and landlords on the negotiation, preparation and enforcement of commercial leases.
  • Advises various owner-managed business on all their commercial law requirements including contract review and preparation, purchase and sale of business, and tax reorganizations.
  • Represents individuals in their wealth, management needs from the preparation of wills and powers of attorneys to estate administration
  • Acts for financial institutions and borrowers in all their financing needs.
