Leah Mangano

Senior Associate


Leah works on a variety of files, from small claims to complex commercial and construction disputes. She acts in a broad range of civil litigation matters, including:

  • contract disputes and other commercial litigation
  • construction disputes
  • employee fraud cases
  • intellectual property disputes
  • malpractice matters
  • banking litigation

She also has experience in estate litigation and has assisted landowners in expropriation matters. 

Leah has appeared before the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta, the Alberta Court of Appeal and arbitral tribunals.

In addition, she has also appeared before various regulatory tribunals including the Alberta Land Compensation Board, the Alberta Surface Rights Board and the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association.


  • Representing clients in various commercial disputes and construction matters.
  • Representing clients in employment disputes and malpractice allegations.
  • Counsel for a design-build contractor in a dispute related to the design and construction of a major ring road project in southern Alberta.
  • Counsel for an EPC contractor involved in a dispute with the owner of a carbon capture plant.
