Kristina Mansveld



Kristina practises in all areas of commercial litigation and arbitration, with a particular focus on shareholder disputes and remedies, fraud and disputes concerning digital assets such as cryptocurrencies. Kristina is also developing a practice in international and investor-state arbitration.

As an advocate, Kristina acted on a complex four-week trial concerning a family trust in 2019. Her written advocacy experience extends to submissions before all levels of court in Canada.

Kristina also has specialized, on-the-ground expertise in human rights risk mitigation specific to the mining and oil and gas industries, having consulted on such issues prior to attending law school.

Prior to joining BLG, Kristina completed clerkships at the Federal Court of Canada and the Court of Appeal for British Columbia.

Outside the office, Kristina enjoys skiing, trail running and backpacking in the mountains of British Columbia.
