John’s practice focuses on all aspects of construction law and commercial litigation.
He advises clients in a variety of construction-related matters, including course of construction management and dispute resolution, litigating lien, trust, delay, deficiency and warranty claims. John handles labour, material payment, performance and bid bond disputes and a variety of construction insurance and professional liability disputes.
In addition to his construction practice, John advises clients in a variety of commercial disputes. His acts for clients in the following areas:
- shareholder and oppression litigation
- real property and development disputes
- commercial leasing disputes
- banking and insolvency litigation
- civil fraud and debtor/creditors disputes
His disputes practice includes enforcing or defending the rights of parties to various domestic and international commercial agreements. This includes agreements of purchase and sale, guarantees, indemnities, leases, conditional sales contracts, mortgages and warranties
