Mark practices in the area of real estate law and finance and acts for developers, brokers, purchasers, vendors, landlords, tenants, lenders, and borrowers with respect to development, purchases, sales, leasing, lending, and borrowing.
Mark has gained significant experience as it relates to large-scale mixed-use development projects and has advised on a broad range of complex development matters in connection to the incorporation and operation of strata lot subdivisions.
Mark has experience in corporate and commercial matters, as well as litigation, and has successfully appeared before all levels of Court in Alberta.
Mark acts on behalf of individuals and corporations that carry on business in Alberta, Canada and internationally, and is involved with reviewing, drafting, negotiating, enforcing, and providing advice with respect to real estate and finance related matters and documents.
Prior to re-joining BLG, Mark worked for a real estate development company assisting in one of Canada's largest mixed-use real estate development projects. In his role, he was involved in numerous aspects of the development, including project financing, construction, leasing and zoning.
