Chanel’s practice spans all areas of labour and employment law, defending the interests of both unionized and non-unionized employers, under provincial and federal jurisdiction.

She advises employers in connection with all areas of human resources management.

Chanel also conducts investigations into workplace harassment and discrimination, and has extensive experience advising on labour and employment issues in the context of various transactions.

She is fluent in English and French.

Prior to joining BLG, Chanel worked as a labour and employment lawyer in a prominent international law firm.


  • Counsel to The Honourable Louise Arbour, appointed to review sexual harassment and sexual misconduct in the Canadian Armed Forces and Department of National Defence.
