Julia is a disputes and regulatory lawyer with experience in foreign corrupt practices and international trade. She advises Canadian and international businesses on corporate commercial disputes, investigations, regulatory compliance, anti-corruption laws, and political law.
Julia is a tested advocate and has significant litigation experience, acting on numerous commercial matters involving securities law, contractual disputes and white collar defense. Julia has appeared before the Canadian International Trade Tribunal, the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Mutual Fund Dealers Association, and the Environmental Review Tribunal.
In addition to her litigation experience, Julia has advised companies on a wide variety of international trade matters including, trade remedies, trade agreements, blocking measures, customs compliance, anti-corruption laws, economic sanctions, supply chain due diligence, and cross-border M&A.
