Christie Wilson

Senior Associate

Christie has extensive experience representing both landlords and tenants in commercial leasing matters, with a focus on assisting clients with national leasing portfolios. She represents clients across a wide variety of industries, including some of Canada's top retailers and premier flexible work space providers.

Clients value Christie's proactive and practical approach and her experience practicing commercial real estate law in Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario. 

Christie regularly publishes articles on commercial real estate and leasing issues and has been featured on BNN Bloomberg. In 2022, she was named a "Rising Star" by the Advanced Commercial Leasing Institute at Georgetown Law.

Prior to joining BLG, Christie practiced commercial real estate law at leading national business law firms in Calgary and Vancouver.


  • Acts for landlords and tenants in the negotiation of retail, office and industrial leases.
  • Advises tenants and landlords with respect to the interpretation and enforcement of commercial leases, with an emphasis on dispute resolution.
  • Acted for a national retail tenant in the due diligence and acquisition of select Target Canada's former leases across Western Canada.
