Celine Zhen

Articling Student

[email protected]

Celine is an articling student at Calgary’s BLG office for the 2021-2022 term.

During law school, Celine volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, and the Canadian Cancer Society. She also served as a peer mentor and played in the badminton club. Celine was motivated to pursue a business law career after seeing how legal expertise made a large impact for many types of businesses, ranging from the small family owned enterprises she worked with in PBSC to a large non-profit organization.

Prior to law school, Celine interned with the Toronto Raptors and Maple Leafs, and worked with a few technology start-ups.

Celine chose to work at BLG after meeting many of the firm’s students during the summer recruiting process and hearing about their experiences. She was drawn to the firm’s collegial culture, the challenging work, and the huge amount of support for students to grow and learn.

In her spare time, Celine can be found hiking and running. She also enjoys playing badminton and spending time with family and friends.
